We are from NC here for the race . We have ate at many Waffle Houses but this one was the very best. Employees are so friendly and the place is extra clean. Food was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed our visit
Well at the waffle house in Lincoln. I had a bad experience. My waitress was very rude. And a smart alec. First my order was wrong and brought out the little hamburgers when I wanted regular hamburgers with everything on it extra onions. So they corrected it and I went ahead and paid the extra and the waitress put $4 in the pocket for her tip instead of the cash register where it belongs. And because I asked for some ketchup packets for my to-go order. She just kept making smart comments. Saint Nick mustard you need mustard what about napkins you got to have napkins it's going to be messy just stupid stuff like that. Anyway never met a waitress quite as rude as her. Never saw smile
The food is GREAT! HOWEVER, they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE, and cell phones show when they are forwarding calls!
It's bad when you're given a limited menu and all of the tables are dirty, but the restaurant's score is 93. I'm confused...please tell me it was the bad weather. I won't be back.
No one acknowledged us when we came in. Finally after starting at the staff one of the ladies told me that someone would be over. Now mind you this was during the snow storm and I know that the area isn't use to this type of weather. Just about everything was closed but of course Waffle House was open. It sucks for the staff. It did not take long to receive my food but they had a butter cup sitting on the middle of my waffle with food including lettuce on the bottom... nasty. I sent it back. The restaurant looked horribly. I'm really surprised I ate there.
